No reviews in quite some time. I just ran across this and liked it a lot. I don't find it to be noticeably taxing on the system. It's very fast and launches apps quickly. Has several other features that people might find useful. And the developer is still responsive. I just wrote him this morning and got a reply within a few hours. If you like having multiple docks, you should at least give this a spin.
its a fairrly basic app that does the job of placing shortcuts/alises on the desktop elegantly. the bad part over the other software I tried(dragthing) is that you have to manually drag drop each app u want a shortcut of. also it uses 40 mb of system memory which I think is a lot!

This is one of the best utilities I have ever used.
As the author states, it does what it is intended to do in a simple and elegant way, without any additional or unnecessary features.
If you want multiple docks placed around any sides of as many of multiple monitors, in a second you will appreciate how useful Dock-It is.
The author is extremely responsive to inquiries and feature requests. In fact, two of my suggestions have been incorporated into v2.1 within a few days.
The demo version will provide a plenty of time to appreciate the value of Dock-It. And, you will immediately realize that $10 is an absolutely fair price.
It takes a good feature set and a dedicated author to make a truly valuable program. Dock-It is a prime example of such programs.

This program is a great idea, and seeing as how it lets you use more than one dock simultaneously, it's even better. However, the docks this program makes are very different from the docks from OS X. And, when dragging shortcuts and programs to the docks, the program crashes often and doesn't save your changes, so you'll have to do everything over again. If the docks could be more like the OS X ones and made more stable, then this program would be perfect.
