At first look, at looks like a fine application. Good PDF documentation plus a help file included.
The problem is that I wanted nothing more than split away overlaps at the beginning and end of some movies I've captured. With this app, I would need to find those offsets - not in timecode, but using binary offsets. And it doesn't offer a preview, not even a still one, of any offset.
If you just want to split a huge file into some smaller pieces to burn, this is fine. If you are a pro and want to control splitting by defining a byterange, this is fine. But if you just want to cut the first few seconds until the movie begins, I'm afraid I have to say: look for something else.
