XLR8 InterView X contains drivers for the InterView USB video capture device.
What's New
Version 2.2.5:
orrects a problem in
the 2.2.4 release. The problem was a side effect of reducing the CPU load
and resulted in non-USBVision movies capturing the same frames multiple
times, artificially increasing the frame rates in captured movies. This only
occurred if USBVision was not the selected compressor in the Video Settings
panel -something that has always been strongly discouraged for performance
reasons. Since some applications do not allow the USBVision compressor to be
selected, this upgrade is recommended for all users.

Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.1 or later, InterView USB video capture device.
Be the first to recommend a similar software title.
Borked my QuickTime install. Every time I start up iChat, Yahoo Messenger, or anything else (iMovie) that uses a video source, there is a popup complaining that the 'Interview software was not installed correctly'
Switched to a different user, same problem.
Try to uninstall, but there's no uninstall option.
Means a reinstall of my system is in order.
Thanks a lot, EchoFX.
Again, THIS SOFTWARE WILL BREAK YOUR QUICKTIME CAPTURE AND THERE IS NO KNOWN WAY TO REMOVE IT.
Not only that, but you need a serial number to run this program, which you can get from their web site. Pure crap.
No support help on their site either, just an email address.

I downloaded this software. The installer asked for a serial number. I entered the serial number of my previous version of InterView software however the installer did not recognize it.

EchoFX has released InterView For Mac OS X 2.2.5 which corrects a problem in the 2.2.4 release. The problem was a side effect of reducing the CPU load and resulted in non-USBVision movies capturing the same frames multiple times, artificially increasing the frame rates in captured movies. This only occurred if USBVision was not the selected compressor in the Video Settings panel -something that has always been strongly discouraged for performance reasons. Since some applications do not allow the USBVision compressor to be selected, this upgrade is recommended for all users.
To make things a little easier, we have eliminated the need to retype your serial number if you have previously entered a valid one.
i downloaded it but when it says "Click "Install" to install InterView for Mac OS X"it says the InterView deviced must be plugged in before installation can proceed.
