Cronathon... There are three OS X cron tasks that should be run daily, weekly, and monthly, respectively. Cronathon allows you to run all three regular maintenance cron tasks at once, or run the Daily cron task only, allowing those who shut their Macs down overnight to make sure these tasks, which would otherwise be run by OS X automatically overnight, are performed. Cronathon shows progress indicator and log.
What's New
Version 1.6:
Reintroduced the Monthly cron task.
Maintenance reports are sent to your mail account via sendmail.
Cronathon outputs reports to ~/Documents/MaintReports/.
Updated user interface.
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.1.5 or later
Folks running Leopard or greater do NOT need to run programs like Cronathon since it is my understanding that the newer version of Mac OS X will automatically run missed maintenance tasks.
But those of you who are still running Tiger may find Cronathon useful.

I don't leave my Mac on overnight. This utility does what it should, does it well, and doesn't break the bank. More apps like this are needed for OS X!
