Absolutely horrible game, way too short, bad graphics, I got the full version, very disappointed.

Well see, the PC and Mac versions are cripple-ware. That don't include all of the features that the console game has.
For instance, you can't go all over the city without interruption, you are limited to 5 or 6 small, distinct, areas which aren't seamlessly connected.
The side plots (where you save people and foil plots and rack up points) are pathetic and basically absent.
The system of webslinging is apparently dumbed down compared to the console.
There is so little challenge to this game that with the exception of a few transition elements, simply pressing the attack button over and over again will defeat the enemy without any real effort.
What ultimately pisses me off the most is that the company that ported this game CLEARLY leveraged their relationship with gamesites to prevent previews and reviews before the release. Then, in another diabolical sales move, they paired with Apple to offer the game to .Mac members only 33% off for a couple of weeks. The demo was made available to .Mac members only which limited the exposure of online comments considerably.
Follow that up with creating a Demo that has all the feel of a crippled demo (which is pretty standard) and you had no idea that you were shelling out cash for an extended version of the Demo. Honestly, play the demo and that's the game...with slightly different scenery, slightly different villains, and slightly bigger arenas occasionally.
The PC/Mac version was made for children and should have been marketed as such. Not doing so, in effect riding the success of the console sales, is negligent at best.
The publisher new this game sucked and very carefully marketed this product to get as much as possible out of the sales before word got out.
Unless you are 5, this game is quite possibly the worst game I have ever played. Which isn't saying much because I've only played Unreal Tournament, Starcraft, Warcraft and Halo.
Why on earth was the mac/pc version so poor compared to the console's version? the console version was astounding, so i dont see why the mac/pc version was so terrible...

This game is no where near as good as the Spider-Man games for Xbox, Gamecube, etc.
