SimpleSynth is a simple soft synth that takes input from a connected MIDI device and can play instruments from Soundfonts and DLS files including Apple's default General MIDI sound set.

What's New

Version 1.0

It doesn't crash loading Soundfonts on Leopard.
You can reload the built-in sounds without quitting.
It runs native on Intel.
SimpleSynth and its source code are now under an MIT license.

yep... finally i've found a synthesizer... and freee uiaueoheuhuiheaiuheih... the mac osx have just a few options, but this synth is simple... small.. and freeeeeee iaueoheaouiheuiehiaeh

Very simple, but works extremely well. I use it for playing soundfonts from my midi keyboard to my laptop as well as as a host for soundfonts with sequencing programs.
