i have happily used pocketnotes for well over a year. aliases to notes/files, drag-and-drop between categories, easy grouping/nesting for related notes, comprehensive search, formatting dependent labels and more. some of these features do not exist or are not implemented well in other applications. the development schedule could be improved but if you are evaluating note organizers, i higly recommend this one.

Nice feature set but VERY buggy. All versions through 2.1 crash on me VERY frequently... I moved to iOrganize and have been very pleased. iOrganize is very stable, has an even better feature set, and is well worth its modest $20 shareware fee.

Notimetoulouse had trouble on 18 Jan 2011

Two days ago I started to work my way through all the note taking apps on MU, to find the right one for me.
Unfortunately it's become a road trip from one derelict site to another, where the developer has closed his doors and gone.
This is another set of dead links.
