well… my review was a bit high, I can't add fonts to a set (with drag & drop) plus it doesn't support postcript fonts preview

What happens when you try to open a PostScript font? Does Typeset reject it, or is the preview shown incorrectly?

Typeset won't open my suitcases (FFIL) when I drag one into the app icon, I don't have these problems with truetypes.

It's definitively not like FontBook, it's a font viewer that works with FontBook. The Goal is to quickly preview a text sample (in my case for graphic design). The interface is clear, smart and well done. No tons of useless features, speed text rendering. But I'd just like to have a character table too.

And one more thing, when you close the window it looks like you can't re-open it.

It's like a version of FontBook that costs money.

Got the famous "quit on launch" too, also with 10.3.9

This 3.0 crashes on launch on my system, while 2.0 works fine. Tossing prefs file makes no difference.
Running System 10.3.9.

Well, it works with Tiger. It load fonts faster than Apple's Font Book and can print a list of fonts but I don't see the point of paying $19 for this app.

Doesn't work with Tiger... and under Pather it was not that good. Tiger's FontBook rocks!

*PHONES HOME * PHONES HOME * PHONES HOME*

But other than that...

This might be cool if it didn't rely on FontBook. FontBook can handle what, like 50 fonts total before it gets pissy? Lame.

*SO WHAT* *SO WHAT* *SO WHAT*

You are a FUDster, that's what. Have you bothered to contact the developer to ask what exactly the app is doing while 'phoning home' before shooting your mouth off? Might it be completely harmless version checking? Do you know for a fact what it is doing? It would appear that you don't.

Nice, clean design. It's drastically easier to use than Font Book, and with a few more features it will be great.

It seems to have been dropped by Defaultware or something. I tried searching their site's forum and it says something bout it being out in the open now. I couldn't read the topic because the topic was moved or deleted.
