I have the same problem, a 200GB Porsche LaCie drive, and it isn't recognized on 10.3.6. The firmware update doesn't help, and the seller didn't want to even deal with it when I complained so they immediatly labeled it as defective and refunded it.

I have a brand new ibook with 10.3. The LaCie d2 200 GB fw worked fine. after a few hours it became very slow, so i upgraded to 10.3.1 and now it doesn't show up at all.
I don't have silverlining pro, since i don't have os 9!
An update for 10.3 that requires OS9? LaCie: you have some wonderful industrial designers working for you, but you have some absolute morons working on your software.
[Version 6.4.8a]

Thought my new LaCie Mobile FireWire hard drive (80GB Porsche design) will boot after the update. Damn it didn't!
Why is LaCie not anwering my emails?
375 Eurobucks and I can not boot from a ext. drive! Shame!

You're not the only one whom Lacie
doesn't answer his e-mails. I have four
Lacie FW800 Disk drive (purchased in May)
and one of them crashed.
And I haven't got an answer to my e-mail
what should I do to recover my data.
180 gb of it.
Any idea ?
