Version 1.2:
This version is now fully Universal and in 32 bit color, so it will run well on all of the newer Macs.
This is a simple game to learn but fun to play. The demo is long enough to get you hooked. I own all the Geneforge and Avernum games. I like supporting Spiderweb Software as they are a local (Washington state) company.
Nothing suspicious at all, they are old posts (years old) and therefore you can't check their profiles, as these posts pre-date our current review system. Further, the posts have greatly varying IP addresses associated with them. Nothing shady going on here whatsoever.
I don't know what to say, because the game is really good and i like really enjoy it.

This game is cool, and don't let the critics say otherwise. It has a great story line and is very enticing. The game itself is ingenious and easy to play. Definately worthwhile to play.
The game is like Diablo 1, finally SpiderWeb caught up with 1996, but everything else, like story, and game play, is ok.

This game is awesome! It has a great story line, great playabilty, and it lets you choose what path you take; the perfect RPG. This is also one of the most stable games i've ever played. 1.0.2 has come out and the update is a must get.

This is the best RPG I've played for a long while (that doesn't have the words "Final Fantasy" in the title, anyway!) The graphics and sounds aren't spectacular, but they do the job fine. In fact, I like the old-school style of Geneforge. And the storyline and playability are great!

If you need a servant, you simply create it, and it will gladly die for you.
But now the secrets of your people are at risk. Someone dares to try to steal the power of the Shapers and take it for his own. He has committed the ultimate crime: he has captured you, and he will do anything to get you to surrender your secrets. He would use the power of the Shapers to remake the world. The question is a simple one. Will you fight him? Or join him?
