It would be nice to see a stable update of this program, as it is apparently the only one of it's kind.
I used to use a much earlier version of this, that allowed me to fix a lot of errors in the cidb...
But now I have more than 5000 CDs entered (my CD Info.cidb file is almost 15MB), and would really like to clean things up again, especially since so many things were later entered with the infamously erroneous information from CDDB/gracenote.

Is this application Leopard savvy? I find a lot of 'mistakes' using this program: edit of e.g. the title makes the text disappear; rearranging column heads doesn't work properly; by clicking Customize crashed the app.; and a lot of 'little' things more.
So, this promising application might need an update before even trying it.

I have used iCDc X in the past and liked it very much. Now I own Delicious Library as a cataloging system. I would be interested in learning about the differences between the two and benefits to Delicious. Also, is it possible to export the data from one to the other?

I cannot begin to extol the willingness of this programmer to help out in resolving problems. He did, with me. We must have sent around 20 emails. I'm definitely buy this software.

This looks great but I cannot work out how to import the large amount of info I have in Itaunes. Please help.

The CD Info.cidb file is located in the ~/Library/Preferences folder. Select File->Open to open the file, or double click on it in the Finder.

The developer has been very responsive. The latest speed and stability fixes made this program very usable and useful to me. It works in Jaguar and Panther as well. I was happy to pay the registration fee.

Can you tell me what you have been doing, because I have entered over 100 CDs without any problems. What fields do you edit, and where?

Nice idea, but the application became totally unusable and nonresponsive after entering the data for merely 13 CDs. I'll be watching how this potentially very useful software develops. If stability (and speed) improves, I'll be glad to pay the registration fee, but not until then.

Became unstable after cataloguing 70 CDs. By 50 discs it was merely sluggish, but then became outright crash-prone. It's a pity as these auto-lookup programs are very handy. However, I have yet to find one that can handle a collection of any substantial size (i.e. more than 100 CDs).
