After hours of not getting this thing to work I finally figured it out. I kept getting a "not enough priviledges" message so I figured...why not run it as root? So I did...and now it works like a charm.

Near perfect, I've been running this for some time now for use with Epson Perfection 1250. Works fine with Adobe & Graphic Converter. I'm currently on Mac OSX 10.2.6

We also have a 1250, and are running 10.2.8. We can't get Twain or Scan to File to work. Any suggestions?

Does not work with the 3200 Photo, which is a pain because I just bought the damn thing to perform twain scanning with Omnipage.

I have OS 10.2 and this product worked as expected. I have the EpsonPerfecton 1640SU, and I just scanned color negatives into Photoshop 7.0.

I couldn't even install. After downloading, and typing in my Admin password, it wouldn't complete the installation, saying I hadn't enough access privileges.
Bogus, Epson. Shame on you.

I installed this build of the twain driver under OS 10.2.1, and used it with the epson perfection 1250 (haven't tried the transparency adapter yet). Image capture worked fine, but you still need to cancel the auto scan to get into manual adjustments.
I had no problems making a 300 dpi scan.
Image capture, however, promptly quit itself after the save finished and Preview launched itself.
Epson has hidden this in their Developer's website and it's very hard to find, but once found, it's a breeze to install and has operated flawlessly in Mac OS 10.2 and scanning from within Photoshop 7.0. Have not tried it with other TWAIN compliant apps yet.

If anyone has an alternate (driver / s/w) that works -- all ears here!
