With all the Logitech QuickCam messengers that Comcast sent out, one would think that someone would have written a driver for OS X by now.

Logically, you'd think they'd go after all of the big-name webcams first--not just Logitech, but Creative, and maybe even Intel. Instead, they cover everybody else and their uncle... sheesh.

Perhaps (like mine CReative Web BLaster3 USB) is supported by MACAM driver (freeware).
But ioexperts Drivers are more professionall.

The installer did not install . . . tried it several times and it said my logitec web cam with black ring was not found . . . it worked perfectly well on 9.2 so I am not sure why it is not working now.

Detailed Problem Description:
i am running osx v10.2.8 on my powerbook and would really like to be
able to run this camera on my Mac. if there is noone on staff to port
this camera to linux, maybe you could tell me the ~chipset~ used with
this camera along with any ~technical information~ so i may do it
myself. thank you

this was their reply:

With regards to your issue, I am afraid that the webcam is unable to
work in a Mac system. There is no driver release for Mac system. Sorry
for the inconvenience caused.

hey I'm using the Eye Toy camera (sony) and can't find any tools which supporting the camera under Mac Os X maybe u can add a toll which supports it
im slowy getting out of my mind by this i would appreciate this
