The worst stability I have ever seen! Keeps running out of memory on me. I hope that this application either gets better or is discontinued!

this is great for searching (finds more files than limewire, xfactor) and downloads better than xfactor but is still very unstable it frequently needs restarting which isn;t much use if you want to leave the machine running overnight.

You mean you can get that piece of junk to actually finish a download?

Limewire is even less great. Who uses limewire anymore anyway? Poisoned is the best p2p program on the Mac today by far....

This thing totally sucks - an amazing amount of very impressive UI work and scripting must have gone on to produce... err... this thing that does not work (G4, OS X, DSL, latest updates, etc.) I know you get nothing for free in this life - this is no exception. Use Limewire or just buy stuff!
How you supposed to rate it for value??? It's free (good value) Doesn't work (bad value)

If it's free it might still not get the highest value rating if it wastes your time. There are some amazing things that are free, like Open Office, The GIMP, Audacity... many more actually. Those are all open-source too.
This ought to be a great little app. The author seems to be putting a lot of time into it, so if there are still significant problems it'd seem like they'll be fixed.

This developer USED TO provide timely updates, in the past year or more this has NOT been the case.
This is and always has been the worst app of its kind, regardless of timely updates or not. The developer should let it die on the vine rather than spend his valuable time trying to make what is still a sow's ear into a silk purse.
It ain't gonna get better, so don't hold your breath.

Very frustrating to use. Even with ADSL connecting takes ages. Haven't been able to do a single download because everything is timed out or gets dropped.

Not for a modem or pre-G3. Opens more ports than NSA. And listens on Port 6000. Other than that, it works.
