This just doesn't work AT ALL.
I've been trying to get this driver to work with, say, just about ANY video conferencing app I know and fing online, but the driver keeps crashing all the time.
It gobbles up so much memory that somehow the app trying to use it actually runs out of active memory for it and quits "expectedly".
Went bach to the old 1.0.3 driver, which is much more stable. Trouble is - the QC Sphere has an option to remotely point it to where you want to look with it, but that option doesn't come with the old driver.
So I'm stuck with a camera with some hightech crap I can't use because Logitech's support is so DARN AWFULL.
Once I purchased a QC 3000 Pro, just because their website had a remark on it saying that they were working on an OS X driver for this one. A year later the message disappeared from the website and noone knew anything about it. And there STILL is no driver for it. Email I got from them was advising me to buy another camera, because they were not going to support it on OS X.
This I call - misleading your customers into buying crap that doesn't work when you want it to.- This is what the whole PC world is turning on.
Fortunately the macam driver does the trick for the QC3000, and thumbs up to those guys.
Logitech?
NO !!! NEVER AGAIN !!!
