Very unstable version. I suggest going back to use version 2.4.4 - it does everything and does not crash

I'd like to make a retraction, if I may. Initially, I had claimed that Pitbull Pro was purring like a kitten, but what I failed to mention was that I was referring to the OS9 version. Although I have the OSX version, I rarely use it due to speed constraints. It runs pretty slugishly on my computer. That's probably not the fault of the developer, I might add. My machine is a Power Macintosh G3, 233 with 600MB of RAM.
Sorry about that. :( -- Yes, I know this is a review of Pitbull Pro X. What can I do, but apologize for being a bonehead.

It's hard to believe there's such a negative reaction to Pitbull. I've been using it for four months now and have absolutely no complaints. For some reason it crashed a lot in the beginning, but I was able to fix the problem--don't ask me how. Ever since then, it's been purring like a kitten. As for Admins banning Pitbull, sure they're out there, but basically it depends on who is using it. If you're using the automatic download recovery option--basically indiscrimately leeching away from some unsuspecting server--you're history, if you get caught. Personally, I haven't had any Admins griping about me using it. Maybe it's because I'm not a leech. :)

Well, I bought it but am not really impressed. It's slow, it's made in REALBasic, on top of that the programmers never update it anymore. Plus, what's up with their "new features" boasting about it being still the single-most hated hotline client by admins?

I have tried pitbull many times, since the unique features that implements are really cool, but every version I installed always brings the same problems: the whole app is heavy, it's really hated by admins who keeps banning me and it crashes everytime. Use Frogblast, it's lighter, stable and plus it's free

I would register, but there are 2 problems. First, so many servers ban pitbull - why? Second the thing crashes completely whenever I close a window, which really sucks if you have a bunch of stuff queue'd.
outside of that it seems OK
