Epson Stylus Pro 9500 contains the drivers for the Stylus Pro 9500 model printer.
Epson don't care about there existing customers, they just want new ones.
We spent £5,000 on our Stylus Pro 9500 about 2 years ago, and now no driver for OS X. It cant be that hard to make a driver, can it? considering all the profit they have made from us for over priced inks and paper. sort it out epson.
I agree, we paid 10K for that printer when it first came out. Sort of like buying a car that will not run on changing gasoline in 4 years. Stupid stuff.
when a driver for os X ?
In my search for a driver for my $5.000.00 pro 9500 printer bought less than three years ago I was told by epson support that epson had no plans to produce a driver that would work with all the new macintosh computers Panther because "my printer was too old". One wonders if the next Epson step will be discontinued production of inks for the "old printer." It is easy to get the feeling that once a corperation sells a product they dont care about supporting that product. Or that they are unwilling to support professionals working on pro units.
