MacDopplerPRO X will read in the Keplerian elements (in either format), calculate the position and relative velocity of the satellite you're tracking, and automatically adjust the Doppler shift on both transmission and reception, as well as point your antennae. MacDoppler features full predictive dead-spot crossing so that a pass is never interrupted if the beam heading crosses a southern dead spot. A track list dialog box allows you to track up to eight satellites automatically, and a slider control lets you sweep the VFO through the transponder range while the transmit frequency tracks the
I like it, but it runs very sluggishly on my beige G4 533 w/radeon 7k.
I gave it a 3 for value because it's a bit pricey.

What's your point ? Heavens Above won't point your antennas or adjust your radio for doppler - It's for OBSERVING satellites - MacDoppler is for TRACKING them - you do know the difference ?

Wow, heavens above? Not to mention what utillities MacDoppler has.... the look.. the gui in itself is enough. Text is good, but more than text ... well, a picture is still worth 1000 words. i could track ISS with celestia... the fact that i can keep track of more than one satellite at a time.. in a single window, in real time.. get real time feedback... i dunno... i do dislike when people try to discourage people from making quality software for the mac. this, is definitely one.

Maybe a discount for Hams? You could send in your callsign and then get a discount. Something like that would be nice, although I don't see it happening.

When you hear something interesting, MacDoppler continues to track the frequency through the Doppler changes. Radios supported are Yaesu FT-736R and FT-847; Icom IC-275, IC-790, IC-475, and IC-820; and IC-821H AOR A3000A. Rotor controllers supported include Yaesu G-5400B and GS-232; KLM/Mirage; Endeavour; AutoTracker; and EasyCom.
