Brother CUPS Drivers contains the printing drivers needed for your Brother-brand printers and SOHO devices.
Is there an OS X 10.1.5 driver for the brother HL-1030 series? I can't seem to find one anywhere.
move to osx seems to have eliminated duplex printing on my 1850 (which is why i bought it in the first place!). the duplex options are there but greyed out.
All credit to Brother for making Mac drivers available, particularly those for OS X.
There is no specific driver for the HL 2060. The site claims that this printer is supported by the postscript driver in OS X. While this printer certainly prints most content correctly, the margins screw up badly from Filemaker Pro.
these drivers don't work over Windows ethernet printing.
Seems to have eliminated the Manual Duplex option. I was hoping for this to work over Rendezvous. Other than that, seems to work. (HL1240 Mono Laser w/ G4 iMac and 400MHz TiBook)

I have a MFC 3100 and I use it with Photoshop 7 and Office X almost every day. As of today the Mac OS X Scanner driver was updated to Ver. 1.13.
¥Improved the color scanning speed.
¥Multiple page scanning supported.
PC-FAX send feature supported!

Before the OSX PCL driver came out, I had to print in classic, which was lame. I've used the OSX driver with Jaguar since OSX 2.1 came out, and I've had no problems. I do get frustrated sometimes with the long wait before it prints, wish there was a command to send to it, after filling the buffer, to print NOW.
My printer is the Brother HL-1440 monchrome laser printer.
Poor & confusing documentation. Generic ethernet support under OSX only.
