Strange Flavour

Bushfire is a game where you protect the experimental Goose Spruce forest with your firefighting helicopter and smoke jumpers. Beware though, strange things are afoot and itï¿½s more than just the odd dropped cigarette you have to watch out for. If you already have 1.0.x, you can download the updater.

What's New

Version 1.1 adds resolution switching in Mac OS X (10.0.2) and a Save Game feature has been added.

BushFire 1.1.1 is reminiscent of the good 'ol side-scrolling video arcade games. This time you're not defending our world from space aliens, but our forests from arsonists! The controls are quite simple, the music catchy yet at times relentless, and the graphics are simple. The various missions are appropriately, progressively harder. It's great to see a remake of a classic arcade genre with a refreshing new theme.

Excellent. Great. Fantastic. So wonderful no word can describe it so I am forced to make one up. Scrumptrelescent. Absolutely scrumptrelescent. By the way, click on
the star of the Strange flavour logo, and on the helicopter on the top of the screen to get secret levels.

Loads of fun ! Been waiting for a chopper game re-make like this in a while. It's nothing huge but the main thing is its fun and its for OS X :-)
Only annoyance is that you have to switch to 640x480
