Master Grade is a gradebook application for teachers. The developer was very responsive to requests, and eager to hear suggestions. I would prefer to have importing abilities for grades and attendance, but if you only start your classes at the beginning of the semester/year, then it's not a problem (you'll create new assignments as you go). He sounds very eager to add appropriate features, like attendance grades for higher education, so I'm looking forward to MG 4.0.

The developer really needs to offer a competitive upgrade... Edlines EGP updates (they only update via CD) are $18 a pop. IF he could get this product to EGPs former capabilities AND match or exceed EGPs pre-Edline support THEN this product could make inroads IF it also could import grades from SchoolLoop and other online gradebooks. I really need a trustworthy gradebook that can import from SchoolLoop so I can maintain my grades apart from the web. (teacher for 14 years)

This was obviously designed by someone who knows what teachers need. An ease to use!

Doesn't hold a candle to Easy Grade Pro or MicroGrade! Their hype at their site leaves a lot to be desired!

The only problem with your statement is that since Edline purchased Easy Grade Pro the product has been stagnant and support has gone down. In my opinion Edline ruined the premier Gradebook program.
