Requirements

Well What to say been running a server for 4 years... have been thousands of people using every version that has came out.
Finally it is very very stable! never crashes at all for any of us!
but carracho isn't for the average idiot who wants to leech stuff. If you don't get it then you shouldn't be there.
and you defiantly shouldn't be reviewing it.
it is very simple to use... it is extremely easy to upload/download enough to fill any size drive
it is very very rewarding and fun! (for those who care enough to get into it)
REMEMBER: when you get to a server - READ THE AGREEMENT - your going into someone's private computer... you have no rights except the right to respect the Admin and others there by following the agreement and rules. Before you go rooting around.

This, I suspect, is not a universal experience. The latest version (PR 4) crashes without fail whenever I try to start it up. Which wouldn't be so bad, except the older versions (which did work on my machine) expire, so now they don't work either. Brilliant.

Has Carracho ever had a non-beta release? Ever?

I still prefer Haxial's KDX client/server software. You get what you pay for with Carracho I think. Carracho simply crashes too often for no apparant reason.

I dont' know what's happening, but I can't download anything??!?!?!? For some reason the carracho's ftp site is asking me for a log/pass and if I just press OK it says that there are already 25 users on the server and I can't download the new version!!!!! Somebody throw me a bone, please!!!!!!

You're all a bunch of idiots. Carracho is great as a chat and file COMMUNITY. Ya know, to hang out and talk to people. If all you want is to find warez and pr0n, there are better methods. Criticizing Carracho because you can't search and leech files just shows how stupid you are. Glad yer not on my server.

ha, nothing available via carracho or hotline? nonsense... if you have a clue you can find almost anything you need... and, use FrogBlast (Hotline client)... it uses ONE window for everything IF you want it to, easily the best interface for an app of its kind, and i know of 6 servers that have anything in the way of softwares that you could ever want.

to Anonymous : you don“t need to go to net and copy-paste servers in carracho. Just copy trackers and paste them in Trackers window prefs. Then use the tracker button in client pane, press the refresh button there and it list all servers online. Try to test all features before complain.

i don't know why they get raves like this. i have never gotten anything offf of this. you have to go on the net, choose the servers, go back to the app, paste them in... oy veh. + did i mention the windows? it has more windows than macy's. maybe it's me--but this is not intuitive at all. if you're like me, then stick with limewire or xnap.
