I've found this to be fairly good. It doesn't seem to use too much memory and is easy to use. It's basically the web version of Gmail in an app.
I use it at work for my personal email, so I can quickly open and close it when necessary.
One thing which doesn't seem to work is the option to remove ads, but a minor gripe.

at first I thsought it was cool with the icon on my desktop, one on my iPhone, and one on my iPad. Easy to read emails. Then it started becoming a pain to have to go between Apple Mail for other emails and this. Found easy way to change between email addresses on iPad & iPhone. Largest problem I found is that I am unable to print out a message from this Go For Gmail app on the computer. It has the little icon that should take me to the printer but it does nothing. So without printing capabilities this FREE app is worthless. Found MacUpdate that wants to upgrade me to the $20 for 6 months. I don't like gmail that much to pay $20 for it. I have access to my gmail accounts and can print to them w/o problem. Using this Go for Gmail app however, is a waste. Even w/all the issues of Apple mail, I can at least see all email accounts in one place, and print, copy, whatever is needed I can do it. I probably will be removing Gmail from my computer and go back to using Apple mail til I find something better.
