Simply great: nice, essential interface, very reasonable price and best of all: immediate and effective support. I had problems with the subtitles of one of my files, contacted Bitfield, got an answer within minutes and a solution within a couple of hours. Quality both in the product and in the service. I made now Playr my default movie application.

great player and scrubs faster than all others out there, even the pro ones.. great UI.. i wish it could trim and export videos and take quick screenshots (with automatic scaling options for the screenshot and automatic saving to a folder).. won't give it a 5 star because it crashes a lot when scrubbing through video.. Please keep up the good work.

I just would like to see some keyboard shortcuts to Push / Pull Audio and Subtitles, and Back / Forward 10 secs, or 1 minute, as we have on “Movist” and “VLC".
With that it would be perfect!

Just started using this... so far a very nice player. Only 1 complaint, it dose not remember the volume setting. Have to re-adjust it for every file I open.

1. Is there any shortcut for seeking 10 sec using Left or Right keyboard?

Updated! I love this Beautiful Application! And with the gray icon back I love you more!
But there's one thing that's been bothering me a lot ... the Player does not work with the Apple Remote control just like VLC. I would like to see the Playr work with the Apple Remote. Thanks =)

This is currently my default player! It successfully replaced two old VCL and Movist players.
Simply Playr works! And it works very well! However, this purple icon I did not like! I think much more beautiful the previous icon was gray.
