Well, this is an improvement over Apple's iTunes widget that works in the Notification Center. Primarily, this also gives you a list of your playlists. That's handy for quick changes. The only other controller I've found that can show a fast popup list of playlists is Sizzling Keys, but it's currently acting flakey on El Capitan. The shortcoming is that it's slow to update whatever song is playing. I've timed at taking up to 6 seconds to finally show the song's status. You could be halfway through a song, but it will still show the song as being at 0 seconds until it catches up. It's kind of hit and miss. I ended up keeping the Apple widget at the top if I need to check the song's status and use Widge Tunes for the playlist feature. It's not horrible, but it's not great.
