Best App to Keep You Organized and Safe! Quick Tip! On Mac, you can put a block for an infinite amount of time. Just set two times and add another time frame in between. Let’s say you want to block Facebook forever, set a time from 5 AM - 4:59 AM , and then make another time frame at 4:58 AM - 5:01 AM, which will cover the one minute gap! That way, if you really want to use Facebook you will have to get up super early, time, and watch closely just to delete the gap and the time frames! Good luck! Also, you can also lock Activity Monitor, which is the app that enables you to force quit this 1Focus. Hopefully it helps!

This app is a godsend when I'm having trouble focusing. Put it on for twenty minutes and by the end of that time I no longer need it.

Completely broken. Added random apps without my consent and then unblocking them is impossible. Can't delete the app until the block schedule is over. Good thing you can only block things for around 20 hours. Horribly programmed app.

Version 3 is out now on the App Store. It adds some new 'Pro' features, such as scheduling and blocked categories, for a small monthly subscription. I've been using this app for a long time now, not sure if I need the Pro features but may give them a go at some point.

I really like this app a lot. I'm a terrible procrastinator (meaning the opposite, of course; I'm really good at procrastinating) and this app saves me from myself. OneFocus is simple to use and does what it is supposed to do well. The developer is very responsive to feedback, which is great. I should say that with any app like this, there is a moderate amount of trial and error on the user's part as you figure out which apps really need to be running. I've found it helpful to select short amounts of time as I figure out how it works best for me. Of course, all of this is not a critique of the app itself, it's just part of learning your workflow with a new app like this. Overall, really great app.

The developer is super responsive and willing to refine the program to make it better. Impressive. The best program that helps you to get things done, whether you call it focus or Pomodoro technique it doesn't matter. Great job!

This is by far, the single best net/app blocking out there! What distinguishes it from other apps, is the option to block apps, and not block the entire net. This effectively allows one to block oneself from applications like games, and web browsers, yet simultaneously allow for the net in other apps like the dictionary.app (which uses the net extensively for wikipedia).
