These reviews are so old they are not helpful anymore. I love this tool. It changed my life. Really. I spent a lot of time downloading or scanning statements. Then I would rename the scans or rename the downloads and then try to organize them into Evernote. I would have folders of paper or lists of pending downloads. I was going back into the past, trying to keep up. When I finally found this tool I was desperate. I didn't start using it until 2017, and then I too thought they didn't have enough connectors. Now I am blown away by the connectors. They even get my local water bills! One trick I learned is that some credit cards are processed by other banks and you have to figure that part out. For example, my Banana Republic card is by Barclay. So was my Amex card it turned out! Once I choose that **existing** connection I was getting more files. AND they pulled down EVERYTHING from that account, into the past as well!!! OMG! This year at tax time, all my tax statements had already been loaded into Evernote for me. Amazing. You can't totally set it and forget it. I find that I need to log in every 3 months to make sure my connection to my bank/institution has not expired. But if you miss some months, again FileThis pulls down everything. I was on the free plan for a while pulling only my most important. And then I realized that $2 for 12 connections was too cheap! I am thinking about upgrading to the unlimited - because why not?! So helpful. And if you are that person, you says you don't need your statement after the year or after taxes -- learn from my experience. Of course you need them for 7 years if you get audited. Moreover, when some one breaks into your house and the insurance company will only reimburse your for what you can prove you bought - you will wish you have every freaking one of those statements. My OCD receipt saving was the only thing that saved us from getting just $100.

Mint Bills seems to do all this without charge. Plus it can live in your menubar, the drop-down is the compact version, and a click at the bottom reveals categories like Expenses, etc. that opens a larger, editable page. Cool!

So 'whats behind the curtain'? Only a reduced feature version is free that limits you to download from 6 institutions, once a week, and gives you 500MB of storage. The plans that are seriously useful cost anywhere from $2 to $5 a month with discounts for paying a year or more in advance (assuming you believe the company will be around for that long). These plans provide more offline storage space on their cloud and a greater number of institutions you can setup. Only the $5 per month plan gives you daily downloads. However you can use other clouds or your computer for storage. iCloud is not however mentioned in the list. The number of institutions that the product can access is limited as well. They were proud to hit 200 a year ago. Unfortunately the only way to find out if your institutions are on the list (they do advertise a few major ones) is to setup an account. I could not find a complete list published on their website. So if your institutions are covered by their service, you desire such a service, and either can make due with the limited free service or are willing to spend $20 a year or more for it, you may be interested in this product. I'm not, especially since my finance program, which access a huge number of institutions, downloads my transactions from within the program or lets me see the bill from my downloaded transactions in my checking account without a monthly fee.

I do everything over the internet as far banking, investing, purchasing, etc. With this new App I don't have to download my statement any more. It has worked so far. I hope they can add some more businesses. I use Evernote to put everything into.
