People over at the Mac App Store are ripping this as lousy software. Just FYI.

Can someone tell me how to send the content of my Mac clipboard to my iPhone clipboard?

I just want to send text-snippets/clips (like long passwords, API-keys, Tracking-codes, etc.) from my Mac to my iPhone.

The description says its possible and super easy – but I don't get it!?!

Whenever I select a piece of text in Safari, Chrome, Quickview, etc., and select "send with Instashare" via the context menu, the menulette pops up and I can drag the dark gray clipboard "icon/bar/text"-thing to the iPhone icon. I hear some fancy sound on my MacPro and iPhone but the clipboard on my iPhone is empty?

The is no information on the developers homepage either.
There is exactly one (!) question and answer in the Support Forum! (and I have no idea if the question is actually related to the software at all! X-D)

Can anybody help me while I wait for the developers reply?

This may be a good solution for you:

Did you install the free Instashare iPhone app? If so, I'm not sure what might be the problem. Test it by trying to send something from you iPhone to your Mac. Best wishes!

Thanks for your replies, guys! :-)

@Solo68: Yes, I'm using the free iOS app on my iPhone (4 & 5S) and iPad (mini/Retina/Cell).

Sending clipboard content seems to work much better now, actually – I'm using the latest version on my Mac Pro and my iOS devices now.

There are still some quirks (the iOS app displays a MacBook device icon for my MacPro workstation), some occasional hiccups, ect., but the latest version seems much more stable now, indeed.

Thanks again,
