4X4 Evolution is a dynamic simulation racer featuring rugged, customizable 4X4 vehicles. It is the first third-party development game with online capabilities that will support connections between players using Sega Dreamcast, Mac, or PC versions, allowing players to compete head-to-head with one another regardless of platform.

Experience a rough off-road ride through a total of 16 tracks, each with its own distinctive design, music score, and difficulty level.

Requirements
PPC, PowerPC G3+, MacOS 8.6 or later, 4MB+ 3D Accelerator card, CarbonLib 1.0.4 or later, OpenGL 1.1.2 or later, Apple Game Sprockets 1.7.3 or later.

I just downloaded the demo. Haven't played it yet though. Sounds like a pretty good game. The thing I'm most impressed about is the graphics (I haven't played the game but I have seen screenshots). I mean, those are really good graphics to run on only a 4MB Video Card.

And Like some other people here, I have found out that this is not an OSX app. In the Get Info dialog box in Panther, It says that it's a Classic Application. Luckily my iMac G3 500 can boot into OS 9.2.

i ave got a cool thing that you can do in the demo What you do is in savage wasterland try and try to get over a fence and go in the middle of nowhere. drive someplace and you get to a road. when you ave done dat drive up the road and you see a ramp wit 3 caravans in between drive up dere and ave fun jumping! if ya dont find the ramps - find the right road!

You think for the time and effort you took to compose this tip, that you could have written complete, grammatically-correct sentences. I'm having a hard time understanding what you're describing. Enough with the lazy capitalization!!

MacOS X Version crashes under Panther. And running under classic it just gives me a black screen.

Since my iBook G4 won't boot into MacOS 9, I can't play this game :-(

game is great if you have a voodoo card. cool graphics, nice race action. if you are into car games (especially off road) and you have a mac...this is the one to get. Online racing is very cool, too.
