So, for $0.99 it does what the FREE applications Signal Strength and WiFiSpy (among others) FREELY do for FREE?

I realize that $0.99 is not going to break the bank but how do you know it is better than the free apps that claim to do the same thing if you can't try it first.

Take it off the CrApp Store and I will try it!

Also, I clicked on the graphic you provided and even zoomed in to around 75%, but the resolution is too low to clearly see the icon or even read most of the text in the drop-down box (on a 20” OS 10.7.5 iMac)! I cannot determine what is written in the icon’s yellow area — is it WiFi connection strength in percentage (I hope so)? Is there a preference setting to change whatever’s written inside the icon to some other metric, or perhaps to include the noise level as well as signal strength?

Can the icon be moved to any position I like along the menu bar, like the OS X Wi-Fi status icon can (while holding the Command button)? If its position can’t be changed, because I use a few other optional menubar items and most apps have so many of their own, then WiFi Signal's position at the left end would make it the first to be dropped/excluded/obscured/nuked, usually by the 'Help’ menu of whatever app is in use.

Can your icon's color, font and font size be changed?

If those things can be adjusted to my liking, and if you can make it available outside of the CrApp Store, I’d gladly pay 99₵ for it.

BTW, thanks for spelling WiFi without a hyphen, it annoys me when developers spell it Wi-Fi.
