100% bug won't matter to most users who don't play long enough videos. But even on the highest end mac pro, if you watch a 1-2 hour web video in flash format. you WILL notice frame skipping and stuttering toward end cause it leaks as it goes along, longer a single flash frame is open more cpu it uses so by end of movie i assure you, it's running like utter crap. Often somewhere half way i close and reopen page then skip to timecode i left off to dump off the excess cpu usage and remove stutter for a bit. My guess is the issue resolves somewhere in the memory management. trying to keep a lot of data in the buffer at once is something flash can't do very well.

Nope, you should make 5-star reviews instead! Seriously, Flash is old, tired, and doesn't fit into the new Internet that has to accommodate mobile browsers (to which Flash just fell face first). It's a remnant of yesteryear and if you were in the design industry, you'd know that no one builds with Flash anymore. It's all HTML5 now and as mobile browser use continues to sky-rocket, this trend will only continue. Today, Flash is only used to maintain legacy designs and products with very few "investing" in it anymore. It's days are numbered because quite frankly, Adobe can't compete. They are no longer an innovative company, but a monopoly that can only manage to maintain its status in the design industry.

Flash is a perfect example of how Adobe is the Disney of the late 90's. Two years ago, they said Flash would be on every single smartphone (even Android's implementation was awful). Last year they closed the "Mobile Flash" project completely, throwing in the towel.

I dare say that Adobe really does deserve its one-star ratings.

My advice is do not use the beta releases! The last stable release is 11.1 r102.

I've got a base mid-2011 Mac Mini with 8GB of RAM, with 512MB of that for the built-in Intel HD graphics, and I'm not having any problems. As Davidravenmoon said, you should stop downloading the beta releases and just stick with the stable build.

I think it's important that folks like Macguruguy try crap like this and report. If everyone ignored the betas and only reported on the so-called "stable" releases, we'd all assume Adobe had a clue and gave a rat's posterior for Apple Users.

All of the Designers, Artists and Musicians I know use Macs... if that's true across the board, it seems odd to me that Adobe betas are more stable for PCs than for Macs.
