WordPerfect OS 8-9 Updater updates the latest version of WordPerfect for compatibility with OS versions 8 and 9:

Slows scrolling speed (also on fast machines running 7.5x or 7.6x)
Fixes grayed out Styles and Window menus
Improves display
Allows aliasing of folders such as Language and Help
Fixes outlining

Since any application compatible with OS 9.0.4 should run in classic mode on OS X and later, WordPerfect should now be compatible with all future OS versions.

Requirements
PPC, System 7.5 or later, WordPerfect 3.5.

I have been looking for this update for two years. My software was 3.5 without the 3.5 update which I had difficulty finding. The links in the read me's wouldn't work. It looks like Corel has removed all download support for 3.5. After installing the 3.5 update and then the Mac OS 8&9 update, my styles menu is no longer dim. I am now shining.
