"Free" is not the same thing a "demo". My feelings are that if a product has an asking price of $7.99, and you have a short time to try out the program (a demo period), then shouldn't it be called a demo. i.e., try before you buy?

If you use the term "free," folks expect the program to be offered at no charge. Personally I have no problem with demos, in fact I prefer them. And no one has a problem with a "free" application. But you should pick one or the other, so as not to misrepresent the program. People hate feeling "duped" – even if it was not intentionally done. I'm not picking on the developer; I'm offering my opinion; having been on the site for over 15 years has taught me a few fundamental things. I'm passing one of them along to save everyone from becoming upset, flaming, etc.

The cost to own this program is $7.99. You have a short time to demo, or try it out, to see if it is going to be useful to you. Thanks for listening.

Respectfully, Annie

I use it to synchronize files between computers using both Dropbox and Google drive. The files are protected much better than many other solutions. I now know that the data is as protected as on my own computer when stored on public servers or on backup media.
Files are also compressed so it saves space.
