Does the application for you? I'm on HIGH SIERRA and the application does not recognize my MacUpdate License, and it's the same thing for all of the applications from MacAppStudio such as Habits or TaskBox, etc. I had all of their application on my previous Mac but following an issue, I bought a new Mac and tried to retrieve all of my license, but my licenses don't work.

So the desktop app goes down to 10.7 but the iOS only for the latest 10.1. ? No support for iOS 9 even though plenty of people won't be able to shell out $1000 for new iPad with the new US dollar prices.

MacUpdate provides a download link for a "companion iOS app", but the App Store says "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."

I must say that I love this app. Ever since I downloaded the trial version, I just loved everything about it. It is very easy to keep my budget up-to-date. The icons are just really nice and motivating, hope you guys will add more icons soon! I've never experienced any issues while using this app. The companion app for the iPhone is very useful and easy to use as well. Lately, I haven't been able to access it though. I'm using the same Dropbox account and it won't seem to work but I'm sure it must be a temporary issue that'll be fixed really soon. The developers are very friendly and helpful. They answer quickly when you experience any issues or need any help. I'm very pleased with the excellent communication and service they provided. They really helped me out and I'm very grateful for that. I will be on the lookout for your future apps. The Life app sounds like it's gonna be another awesome one. I hope you guys offer a trial version. I can't wait to try it out! Thanks again guys!

I like the concept and ease of use to see overall banking. However, I do not see how to download transactions from my bank. I hope I am missing something, as I would like to use this program. Sorry, but I am not going to type in my own expenses.

As I promised before, I'll level up the rating of this application. The developers listened to our need and made some improvement since last version. They added decimals and recursive payment. I would be more than delighted if they could give us the possibility to add our own icon. Creating an upload button so that we can change the design of our incomes and expenses. They could also add some new stylish designs that we can directly download from their site. What I really like with this app is of course the design, but also the fact we can customize the icons for each transactions. The bad thing is that we don't have any "Check for Updates" feature in the menu. So we can do nothing but look for updates through MacUpdate to check if we are up to date. That's one of the reason why I don't put another star to this great app.

I got his app via the MacHeist bundle. I am using Mac Os X 10.6.8 and it keeps on showing an error message that it can not create a database, so I have not been able to create a money bag. Needs more work, but on the right track. I will revisit using it in a few months.

I got this with the MacHeist bundle. I am not going to review it because others have done so. I would, however, say that another couple months worth of work on this app would have gone a long way before releasing it to the public. Has potential. Needs work.

Moneybag is an ambitious application. The App is brand new, (Version 1.0) and the developer looks very motivated to work on future improvement for this software. I contacted them today to tell them what I think about Moneybag and what I would like them to add in future update, and they surprisingly replied to me very quickly, (That's the first time I get such quick reply from a developer!) From what they told me, they will add : decimals, more icons and other request from other customers like you... It sounds great! I think this software is worth the money if you take advantage of the current promo! (Imagine the app get better (which will no doubt happen!) and you have to spend $60 instead of the current discounted 70% off (about $20) you'll certainly regret not giving it a try.) I agree that the version 1.0 isn't worth $60, but if you purchase it now at $20 and wait for the upcoming update, I see no reason why you would not give this app a chance to get better. Not to mention that the developers seem very motivated to offer us what we are looking for. (They are very reactive to our messages and mails anyway) Just try to contact the developer and tell them which features you would like to see in Moneybag, and I'm sure they will try their best to add them.

what about an app for android users? Also you need to expand your recurring options - you need to give us a custom option - the four you give are not enough. looks pretty enough but needs much more development. As for charging 59.99 - you are twice as expensive as the best of the rest and yet you offer much much less in terms of features and UI (iBank, Moneywell, Mint to name but a few).

Hi, I downloaded and am using the trial version of this and have to agree with first comments. The app LOOKS lovely and you are sure that it will work intuitively but I can't seem to have it do the simplest of things. I don't even need it for complex things like my business as I use Moneyworks for that. I was going to use it for basic home finances. Specifically, I tried as an example to set a savings goal of $30000 for a new car in 5 years time. Added goal, put in details, added 30,000 but nothing seems to have been 'created', ie nothing showing up on a 'shelf' anywhere. Can't see how to add figures and at every point that would seem "intuitive" like right clicking, finding options up in the menu etc etc, nothing 'happens' Also there seems to be almost no instructions or help available (yet) that would answer beginners' questions. OK, I have 'only' spent 2 hours with it so I'm no expert but I'd really expect something this good looking to actually 'work better' for a new user. Certainly wouldn't be spending $20 on this at this stage of its development.

I wanted to like this, but don't. On the web site MoneyBags is touted as being great for freelancers and small business. This doesn't seem to be anywhere near the case, at least for freelancing. So, my comments are based on trying MoneyBags with a freelance business in mind. Problems: - The app opens in full screen. Really? Why? Completely uncalled for. I don't need this app taking up the entire 30" of my primary monitor. Just resize the window! Sure... but it doesn't remember the size so each launch is full screen always. Yuck. - One MUST enter an "expected income" for a new "moneybag". This makes it completely pointless for freelancing. Each client pays repeatedly and guessing at income seems haphazard. - Can't enter a default payment rate. Most business oriented financial apps allow the user to set a default hourly rate, then the app calculates costs/income based on time spend. Not Moneybags. The user must input the income value for each and every transaction. Not intuitive at all. And making me do all the calculation work. Not good for business. - in the 30 minutes I spend with this app it had to be the most unintuitive financial app I've tried. Double-click somewhere you'd thunk you could alter a value. Nope you cant. And values don't accept decimal points either. So you can't even enter $100.50 it's seen as 10050. Moneybags assume anything under a dollar is pointless? - It really appears as though a great deal fo care has gone into how the app looks. It does LOOK nice. But the functionality CLEARLY makes it seem like an early beta app - at least where any type of business is concerned. In short, this may be a great app for personal finance management however this falls HORRIBLY short for any type of business management.
