Yep, nowadays it's rare to find any developer still distributing products with SIT/SITX archives since Apple stopped bundling StuffIt Expander with OS X. Hey, but at least this least this is free. :)
I looked at the comments that were posted for this application and what I saw was that the first review that raved ( I think it was written by the developer) and the second was why bother Text Wrangler does the same thing( I guess it wasn't that impressive) but the thing is the first was written on 11/16/2003 and the
second on 1/16/2007 and the application is still in alpha development and he wants to charge 15.00 dollars! I think you see what my beef is!
Just to clarify something. I am not the developer. I have reviewed the fully working classic application TexFinder and not TexFinderX for Mac OS X as you might have read.

You may want to consider using the more common .dmg or .zip format built into Mac OS X.
