4 Accounts max? Should be free. Charge for unlim accounts. Makes no sense to me. Interface is poorly designed so only place for 4 accounts.

Here is another app without the 4 account restriction - "TopPop3 1.2.0.46" The developer however doesn't respond, the website doesn't list the app anymore, but you can find the registration keys on the web. I'm not against paying for software, in fact I have purchased ManuMail, but I was disappointed to see there is max 4 POP accounts. I didn't see that so my fault. The TopPop3 has not limits, cost quite a bit more for $20, most people would not need that, I do because I need to check few legacy accounts which I keep as recovery and admin email accounts. Thanks.

Avoid this, totally buggy. Takes a lot of time to make any change, you see the spinning ball all the time, when it's not freezing.
It refuses to use my iCloud account.
I removed this app immediately.

This little Menu item is unique and absolutely excellent. GrowlMail, Herald and myMailBoy need to run Mail.app in the background, MenuMail not. So in competition MenuMail preserves hardware resources and informs about incoming Mails at a glance. Thanks to the developer who is very responsive and will integrate some ideas in the upcoming updates.

...except for being stuck in the 90s with only POP3 support and no IMAP support. Doesn't appear to support POP3S even (POP3+SSL.)

Really, if you're still using POP3, you shouldn't be if you can help it. Chances are your provider also supports IMAP...and likely SSL. (And IMAP with IMAP IDLE is far more efficient than polling for new mail constantly; Mail.app supports it. IMAP IDLE lets the server tell you when you have new mail instead of the other way around.)

It'd be great to see something like this with support for IMAP and SSL... It's not like it's technically infeasible in any way.

This app does not work, just the spinning beachball. No way to contact developer because the site is in German.

Can't get this app to work and no way to contact the developer and the web site is in German so I guess I'm out of luck.

Probably best to pass on this and don't waste your money
