As a bonus, we will be releasing an iPhone and iPod Touch companion application that will sync with Remotify. It will allow you to extend your experience by turning your iPhone or iPod Touch into a visual remote. It will be available within 1 month of initial release free of charge.
In order to use Remotify you need three things. An Apple Remote (aluminum or classic). A Spotify Premium, Unlimited, or Free account, and a Mac (laptop or desktop) running OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or higher. Setup takes about 30 seconds and there is a help section within the app if you encounter an problems.
*Note that you can still use Remotify without having an Apple Remote, but you will only be able to tweet what you are currently listening to.
