Question: does anyone know if this is using encrypted torrent connections or just the public channel?

Runs perfectly under OS X 10.9.1

A wonderful piece of freeware.

Was very good.
Now … not so much.
Will not play nice under "Mavericks."

Now uses its own server (GoDaddy, when I checked) --- which means there is a cost being paid by *somebody* somehow. I suspect you were experiencing the developer's set-up / bandwidth issues.

When it finally started working, I saw a fairly short list of *scarily* new releases.

I think I'll sit this one out for now ---

Tried an earlier version, I forget which version number, and it just did not work. All attempts to download something ended up with an error condition. No go. This version is working just fine. Nice simple interface, easy to use. And it can be run from its disk image, as that is what I am doing now, to check it out.

Crash and burn on launch every time (OS X 10.6.8). Will re-review with better rating once I have something to review. This was obviously not Alpha'ed enough before release... in fact it may not have been Alpha'ed at all.

Please read requirements before downloading and bad reviewing (Intel, Mac OS X 10.7 or later)

Point taken, Anthony, though with such a limitation I'll have to stick with other methods.

- crashes and burns a whole lot when checking for some movie details ("the hills have eyes" is a reproducible crash)

- no control over download location, seeding ratios, torrent to download

- no notifications on finished downloads

- after a crash, sometimes seeding ratio gets zeroed or some finished downloads return to 80%/90% completed and go from there

it's an alpha, not a beta, at least on lion 10.7.3. it's also free so no complaints, just reporting. tip: leave the downloading/managing to the big boys, merge in some features from swarmquery and you have a good app.

do like the minimal synopsis sheet. could use an export function as image to make my movie folders prettier (don't like media centers).

nice idea overal, please don't get demotivated by my review, anthony plourde.
