I'm not much game oriented: I prefer real boardgames instead of computer games.
However, Limbo is a real gem.
The graphism is a pure amazement of simplicity. The music is an essential component of the tension. It's really terror building.
Not very difficult, so very fun to play.
Wait for the middle of the night, stay alone, put your sound on and launch Limbo... You won't regret it. Or maybe you will, but you'll love that.
Thanks thats good news I tried the game under cyder but the CPU was to high the controls are messy to setup and I think the graphics should be better if its a native app.
Nice game by the way I'm eager to play it.
Does not work with my PS3 controller which I use for other games (Batman, DiRT 2, etc) even though it supposedly supports controllers... otherwise this is a really good puzzle platformer. I haven't been this entertained in this genre since Oddworld and Oddworld 2 on the PSOne.
For anyone tempted by the current Steam sale of Limbo (50% off until Jan. 3rd) the Mac port of Limbo is supported under SteamPlay, and will be coming to Steam in early January 2012. (January 12th, if what I've read is correct.)
