FormatMatch is just an awesome app which has saved me countless hours in removing unwanted formatting when copying and pasting text between my various apps.

Fantastic! Two thumbs all the way up! As a PhD student writing a thesis, which involves a lot of cutting and pasting from research documents to final drafts - well, this to me is a godsend! FormatMatch - where have you been all my academic life?

I have been trying to get MS WORD to do this by default for years, its so much less complicated than "PASTE SPECIAL" or other options....

To the previous reviewer:

How it is NOT easier than CMD-ALT-SHIFT-V?

Just because YOU don't have a need for this, does not mean that it is not useful. Imagine having to CMD-ALT-SHIFT-V numerous times a day on your laptop, while sitting in a car all day....

This app put a smile on my face all day... I just wish I didn't have to install it from the App Store... I prefer to download direct from MU.

I see the problem with MS Word and other older software that doesn't use the built-in text engine. "Paste special" in Word is really tedious to work with.

Keep on smiling :-)

I fail too see how this app is more efficient than simply using shift+alt+cmd+v instead of cmd+v when pasting.
