1.0.5 is the only publicly advertised version. It's the only version you will see when looking on the VLC web site. It was not on MU previously, but then someone created a new listing. Then someone else pointed out in the comments that 1.1.5 was available via the FTP site, so the listing was updated. That's it. This is actually an old and not very useful plugin that VLC doesn't care much about, but someone, an MU user like you, decided to make a listing for it, so that's what we've got. Don't blame MU for it being old, because this is all that's available.

Also, it might surprise you to know that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of Mac programs that are not listed on MU, and I'm not talking about things that are in the MAS. Sometimes, the listings for these programs are not created until literally years after their release. MU can't and doesn't know about everything.

The plug-in only installed in Safari and not my default browser Firefox 8. I downloaded from developer site and it's version 1.0.5, there's no 1.1.5 web plug-in, that I could find. Whats up Macupdate? Confusing!
