WinOnX lets you run your Windows applications on OSX without the need of buying a Windows license. Well, you even do not need to install Windows. Just download WinOnX and you are ready to go within 2 minutes. No need to install Windows or a virtual machine.
Please note:
- WinOnX should only be used for applications which are not available for OSX. Whenever an application is available for OSX, we strongly recommend to use this version.

Not working with any windows program I use on Parallels. Elster tax program for example. Tried on Mac Pro 3.0, Macbook 2.0, Macbook Pro 2.4, Mac OS 10.6.8 and 10.6.9. Would give 0 stars if possible. Don't waste zour time and money!
I'm not the dev, however, right at the bottom of his web page is a link 'Feedback' where you can write to him.
Of course, you won't be able to run any app - it's based on Wine! Comparing Parallels, Fusion or VB to this is like comparing an airplane to a bus. I bet your simple program uses .NET, which you need to install into any Wine-based app manually, so that's why it probably wouldn't work.

- WinOnX is based on the open source Wine project. It is a layer which redirects the communication between an application and Windows to OSX. As a result not all applications are fully compatible. Most applications run fine, some run even faster but also some run slower or even crash. You can look at http://appdb.winehq.org/ to get some information how good your application might work with WinOnX which is an ongoing project. In case your Windows application does not work at the moment, there is a good chance that it will work after one of the next updates.
- Currently full screen applications (especially games) are only limited supported. We are currently working on a version which will support both full screen for Snow Leopard as well as for Lion.

There is no mailadres of developer. Problems can be sent to him from within the app only but he does not respond. So useless.
Stay away far from it. Money thrown to the pigs.
