In-Depth Projects
See everything in one place as you manage your billing projects. Effortlessly add products and services from the Inventory list, use timers, choose tax rates, and add notes. Create an invoice from all project items or only selected ones, and it will be ready before you know it. Then, just click Send.
Flexible Timers
Track the time you take to perform every task. You can add as many timers as you need and then view, stop, or restart them using a convenient list in the Mac OS X menu bar. After you have finished your tasks, use the timer results in your projects for effortless billing.
Invoice Templates
Repeating the same information for every new invoice can be seriously frustrating. Click on Preferences and set up your contact information, company logo, Web site address - everything you need to include on every invoice. Choose from five different invoice designs, and you can easily send your clients a bit of fun along with the balance they owe you.
Recurring Invoices
Bill Engine makes scheduling and remembering repeated invoices very easy The Recurring feature allows you to select a desired frequency for your invoices and set reminders, which you can sync with iCal.
Report Summary
Bill Engine features very fast and straightforward report generation. Just select the relevant period and one of the five available report types: Projects, Invoices, Payments, Billed & Collected, and Client Summary. With just a few clicks, your billing activities are available before your eyes.

Invoice templates are difficult to create/edit.
Doesn't integrate well with Money.
UI elements are in strange locations. For example, adding a project button and other major action buttons are way down in the bottom right corner of the window. They should be at the top of the window. Too much moving of the mouse.
Also does not link to Address Book. Could be a nice app. I hope they release a MAJOR update without charging their customers that already bought it.
