Unfortunally since I updated to Lion 10.7.3 Window Tidy crashes silently in the background and needs to quit and started again.
Hope this will be fixed soon, since this is one of my most frequently used apps!

the only thing I'd like to have added is the option to change the background of the re-size screens within the app. for example, i wanted the screens to be a solid grey. i had to find a wallpaper that matched what i wanted, download it, set it as my wallpaper, change it within the app, and then remove and replace it with my old wallpaper. not a huge problem but a lot more steps than needed, i feel.
it's a shame there aren't any demos available currently. it's really something that needs to be experienced to see if it fits. it sounds like the dev is working on that so hang tight and give it a try.

I have been using the excellent and user-friendly Moom for many months now and was able to try it free before buying. And the dev. of Moom offer either to buy it from MAS or from their website. At more than half the price ($5) of Window Tidy.
When the developers will understand that Mac users want to try before buying? And most of us want the keep their choice of the buying outlet...

I understand fully that many people would like to try before they buy, and that they may prefer to purchase direct rather than via the App Store. Please be assured that we are working on providing these options, we are new to Mac development and the App Store is a convenient route to market for developers, which is why we chose to start there.
You may also be interested to know that all of our apps, iOS and OS X are available for FREE this weekend in our special Black Friday sale. That's Sat 26th and Sun 27th of December. Hopefully one of you guys will post back here to let everyone know what you think of the apps.
