SysDeep is an extended version of Activity Monitor: It tells you all you need to know about processes within your operating system.
What applications are running? How many threads each application is running? What files and ports are opened? What pipes between applications are being utilized? Shared memory, semaphores and many others you want to know but don't know where to ask - all these questions may be answered using SysDeep.
The above download is a 10-day trial.

Version 1.0: Release notes were unavailable when this listing was updated.
Not sure why some people rated it so low, but really program does do what declared. Looks good enough and information presented really much bigger than Activity Monitor may tell. It really shows files which process opens and sockets with ip what is most useful function in my opinion. Moreover i think it may add many nice features in future.
I'd like to find an app that's simply an extension of Activity Monitor system processes viewer that when you click on a Process it shows you details about its origins & purpose from a database like http://triviaware.com/macprocess/all
Right now I can upload a process.txt saving via Terminal and upload to here: http://triviaware.com/macprocess/ - But I'd much rather have that all happen in a Client app on my computer.
Anyone makes that, I'll buy it if it's stable and has a complete, updated database.
