iPurge Safari Caches is an AppleScript application that clears Safari cache files. It deletes the following:

Hard Disk/private/var/- Safari caches (only necessary on Mac OS X 10.5).
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
~/Library/Caches/Adobe/Flash Player/AssetCache
~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/macromedia.com
~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects
~/Library/Caches/QuickTime/downloads

This is already built into Safari, and quite easy to work with in Safari. More hard drive clutter.

Yes Safari does have a empty caches and reset all, HOWEVER it does not delete the Flash/Macromedia caches as iPurge does. I think you may owe an apology to the developer, considering this is free application... I would suggest Dear Macupdate filter your comments filter, filter as you have stated. Be nice.

Well, I notice that 1.6.1 removes the caches and history only when you have quit Safari manually, whereas Safari was quitting automagically on older release.
This new behavior is just a little bit disappointing for me.
