MU's price reads $0.99. The MacApp store reads $2.99
Indeed, both prices are low.
But, someone on the internet is wrong. ;-)

I've spent the last days reviewing several apps of this kind, and this one beats all the others, hands down.
I was really disappointed with some of the other apps out there, but not with this one. Not at all.
Simple, but powerful where you need it. Does everything most all people will generally want for customizing folders.
You're able to make incredibly good-looking folder images with very, very little effort!
I realize that this post may sound like hype to some, but it's only because I was really surprised by how good this app is. Not to mention that it's also one of the less costly ones.
I think you won't be disappointed.

For me this app simply helps me putting the names of my TV show on their folders icons, or putting a picture/texture of my manga collection grouped by folders, catalog my development files by folders colors, and many more creative ideas. And are so cute and cool. :) (now my friends get crazy of envy when they browse my files)
And maybe one of the most awesome things is the price, it's really cheap for the workflow that delivers. Thanks to the developer, maybe could sell it outside of the AppStore(not all of us like it).
(please apologize my english)

The application itself is easy to use and very polished. To use you need to have not only the app open but Finder (Forklift, whatever). Create your new folder in FolderFactory then drag the folder you want to change from Finder (Forklift, whatever) to the Folder Factory window and it's done.
A note: The new folder is refreshed in Finder straight away. In Forklift I've found that sometimes Forklift has to be closed and reopened to see the new folder.
For those that complain about the lack of a trial, I do see your point, and in the majority of cases would agree, but c'mon, give the developer a break... it's $2.99! The next time you go to a cafe/coffee shop you haven't been to before ask the proprietor for a sample before you put your money down for a cup of coffee.

A couple of things I'd like to see added in a future update would be:
- ability to drag an icon to the image/stamp window rather than having to do a copy/paste
- a way to save presets into some kind of visual library for future use.

Very useful and easy-to-use app. A great bargain, in fact. Thanks again.
