ClipMorpher is a simple tool which can automatically perform different operations on your clipboard. It removes text formatting by default and can apply other text conversions like convert to uppercase/lowercase, remove line breaks or multiple spaces.
It's located in the menubar and acts in the background. Once activated, you can simply use the default shortcuts CMD+C to copy and CMD+V to paste your text, which is magically converted in the background.
