(just a comment, since I haven't tried this) You can make a single-site-browser (SSB) for Facebook yourself using Fluid, a very useful program. You can do the same for Gmail and any other site. Try it out.

[Notice that, because MacUpdate.com's "mention Similar Software" interface doesn't show you the icon of the app, I added two "Fluid" apps. The one with the globe icon is what I meant to add.]

This app is similar to TweetDeck for Twitter, and it works without faults. But all in all, I find both of them quite annoying and distracting. If social media marketing is not your full-time job, I wouldn't recommend to have it.

It is a nice little app, but it really annoy me that to be able to write something you need to turn off the autorefresh. If you don't you are likely to see half of your comment disappear and you have to start over again. Fix this and I'd rate it 4.5 or even 5 stars.
