MIDITrail is a MIDI player which provides 3D visualization of MIDI data sets.

You can enjoy not only listening but also viewing.

MIDITrail supports Standard MIDI File (format 0/1), and multiple MIDI ports.

Quick Start

1. Click "Option" -> "MIDI OUT...", select "Apple DLS Music Device" to Port A.
2. Drop your MIDI file into the window.
3. Push space key to play/pause, and push ESC key to stop.

This program is a lot of fun! I enjoyed flying around the 3D piano keyboard array as the MIDI notes fell onto it like rain. Try it out!

Important note, though: Follow the Quick Start instructions above to pick MIDI Out from the Options menu and choose Port A = Apple DLS Music Device, or you won't hear any music.

Really enjoyable program, you can hear and see the MIDI events in the same time.
It has in app Help, but you here is the direct link: http://miditrail.sourceforge.jp/MacOSX/MANUAL.en.html
